ray@theprisonshow.org  Ray was sentenced to 160 years in prison in Texas. While in prison, he
became a jailhouse lawyer and reformed his sentence to just eight
years. As a Trustee, he completed his sentence in four years, four
months, and ten days.  Ray's accomplishments are many, but it should be noted that among them
are winning four Federal suits against the City of Houston, including a
landmark First Amendment U.S. Supreme Court Case: City of Houston V.
Hill 107 S. Ct 2502, and in 2005 Ray was awarded the Lifetime
Achievement Award by the Houston, Texas ACLU.

as the prison issues coordinator in the Houston office of The American

Ann Staggs · Telephone Coordinator  Ann came to The Prison Show a little over ten years ago to get married.
She had been a nurse in a Texas prison and fell in love. She lost her
job, was denied visitation and came looking for help. We had the proxy
wedding on the air, with Ray standing in for Charles in the studio
while Charles and his friends gathered around the radio to celebrate
the occassion in prison. |

Lynda Greene · Veterans Affairs  Lynda joins us regularly on the program to discuss issues critical to
incarcerated veterans. Working with Disabled American Veterans, she is
instrumental in assisting veterans with benefits and assistance both in
and out of prison. She also organizes, maintains and presents our
annual Memorial Day program. |

James Ferguson · National Corrections Oversight Coalition  Jim Ferguson is the founder of the National Corrections Oversight
Coalition. NCOC gathers and analyzes complaints and/or information on
corruption, injustice, and abuse (criminal activity) in Texas jails and
prisons, then notifies authorities on behalf of inmates or other
detainees in order to initiate inquiries and investigations.  To submit a complaint for investigation, correspondents must write a
statement/letter of affirmation and enclose 1 self-addressed stamped
envelope and 1 blank stamped envelope and mail them to: NCOC c/o The
